LANSING – Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel filed motions today to withdraw Michigan from two federal cases. Including these cases, the state has removed itself from 26 federal cases since Nessel took office January 1.
“These cases simply do not reflect what Michigan stands for,” said Nessel. “We support fairness and transparency. There is no justification for us to continue to be a party to these cases.”
