Flint Water Investigation

  • On January 15, 2016, Michigan Attorney General announced he is investigating the Flint Water Crisis. The purpose of the investigation is to determine what, if any, Michigan laws were violated in the process that resulted in the contamination crisis currently forcing Flint residents to rely on bottled water for drinking, cooking and bathing as they fear for their health.

    Since the beginning of the investigation, the following charges have been filed:

    • 51 criminal charges against 15 state and local officials
    • Civil suit against multi-national corporation Veolia, and Texas-based LAN
