Energy Services will extend funding to continue offering support for event sponsorships and other training activities that provide Michigan businesses, communities, and citizens with information to make informed energy and sustainability decisions. All applicants must be a Michigan based organization. The primary focus of the event must be related to energy efficiency, renewable energy and/or sustainability. Sponsored events must take place between 10/1/2020 and 9/30/2021, and must allow event related materials (marketing information, summaries, presentations, links, etc.) to be posted on the EGLE website.
Any Michigan public sector, 501c3 or 501c6 organizations, and small businesses (<500 employees) are eligible to apply. Applications should be submitted 60 days prior to the first event.
A minimum of $100,000 in funding is expected to be available for the program. The maximum award is $2,500 per applicant, Energy Services reserves the right to issue awards/award amounts reflecting program priorities for select events on a case by case basis. Applicants are required to provide a minimum 1:1 match, and if selected will enter into a grant agreement with EGLE Energy Services. Awards will be given on a first come, first served basis until funding is depleted.
