Does the state monitor travelers returning to Michigan?

The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) receives daily referrals about travelers from the CDC airport quarantine stations. Once MDHHS receives the referral, the information is provided to the local health department in the community where the traveler lives. Local health department staff contact the individual, assess their risk and may supervise daily for health monitoring for 14 days after their last day of exposure.
