What is being done to keep customers and staff safe while branches reopen?

To ensure the safety of customers and staff during this time, our department will enforce strict social distancing measures, as well as proper hygiene and sanitation practices, at all Secretary of State branch offices. Staff are required to wear proper face coverings, and customers are strongly encouraged to do so. Customers with appointments are asked to come alone, without companions, unless it is necessary to complete their transaction. Further, customers will only be able to enter a branch office at the time of their appointment and will be asked to wait in their vehicle or, at minimum, outside and a safe distance away from the entrance to the office, until called inside.
