There is a lot of information available on benefits and resources for veterans. Where can I find out if I am accessing all available programs?
The Michigan Veterans Affairs Agency (MVAA) has a team ready to answer your questions. Call them at 1-800-MICH-VET to get connected to information and resources, or visit the MVAA website at MichiganVeterans.com.
The MVAA also recently launched our “Check on MIVet” program. If you, or a veteran you know, would benefit from check-ins from our staff to stay connected to employment, education, healthcare, quality of life and other benefits, complete the form at https://www.michiganveterans.com/servlet/servlet.FileDownload?file=00Pt000000LHk36EAD. Note this is not a mental health line or “wellness” check. If you or a veteran you know is in crisis, contact 1-800-273-8255 and press 1, text 838255, or chat online at VeteransCrisisLine.net/Chat.
