The COVID-19 pandemic has been emotionally draining -- and for children who are still developing emotional intelligence, it can be confusing and upsetting. This free interactive webinar series engages children in drawing projects to help them learn the words and feelings associated with various emotions.
Designed for parents and their kids, the series will be led by clinical mental health counselor Zeinab Moussa, M.A., LLPC, who presented our first art-based webinar series in July and August. Draw Your Feelings Part Two focuses on six key emotions displayed on a colorful "feelings wheel." Each week while parents look on, children will draw what a certain emotion feels like. Then they learn the right words to describe that emotion.
