The facilities are hosting an open house on Thursday, June 29, 2023, from 8:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. 

The open house will take place at the Michigan Works Office in Lansing. 

Staff from the Jackson and Ionia facilities and members of the Recruitment team will be on-site providing application assistance for all available positions. 

Those interested in becoming a Corrections Officer will be able to interview and complete a PT test. Please bring a change of clothes for the PT test. Gym shoes, shorts, and a t-shirt are recommended. Click here to view a video of the PT test.

Attendees should bring three references, work history, and a valid form of identification.
