The Michigan Department of Corrections is actively hiring Corrections Officers, Food Service Staff, Skilled Trades Staff, Mental Health & Health Care Staff, and other professional positions across the state. On December 18, 2024, the MDOC will be hosting a recruitment event at the Green Oaks Training Center, located at 8701 M-36, Whitmore Lake, MI 48189.
Those interested in open positions will be able to apply on-site, and staff will be present to provide application assistance. Interviews and physical fitness testing will also be conducted on-site for the Corrections Officer position. Please bring a change of clothes for the PT test. Gym shoes, shorts, and a t-shirt are recommended. Please bring your picture identification and social security card for verification purposes.
