The Michigan Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) hosted annual Upper Peninsula Solid Waste Forum (Forum) in Marquette, Michigan, on May 2, 2018. The Forum focused on information about the latest issues involving solid waste management and recycling, and especially targeting issues of interest in the Upper Peninsula, with the goal of establishing best management practices, waste reuse and economic development.
