The Michigan Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ), Remediation and Redevelopment Division hosted two workshops to help businesses and consultants understand Petroleum Vapor Intrusion at sites regulated under Part 213 of the Natural Resources and Environmental Protection Act.

This workshop featured presentations by national experts including:
  • Todd Ririe - BP, Remediation & Engineering Technology
  • Blayne Hartman - Hartman Environmental Geoscience

As well as presentations from these knowledgeable DEQ staff:

  • Matthew Williams - Vapor Intrusions Specialist
  • Carrie Geyer - Chief, Brownfield Redevelopment Unit
  • Abigail Hendershott - Sr. Environmental Quality Analyst

This workshop qualified for 6 continuing education hours
(CEHs) for Professional Engineers.
