Northern Michigan
Green Infrastructure Conference
June 4, 2015 - Traverse City

The Great Wolf Lodge and Conference Center in Traverse City was the venue for the Northern Michigan regional Green Infrastructure Conference. This conference expanded on the 2014 statewide conference to highlight a broad range of benefits and opportunities provided by Green Infrastructure (GI) planning and preservation in northern Michigan.

Highlights of this conference included case studies, best management practices, and national perspectives in the morning with afternoon breakout sessions in two tracks: Technical/Engineering and Planning/Policy. Optional pre-conference activities on June 3 included a field trip to tour Cherry Capital Foods Green Roof and Suttons Bay Rain Gardens and an informal reception at The Workshop Brewery.
