(LANSING, Mich.) The Michigan Department of Insurance and Financial Services will hold a virtual public hearing to receive public comments on Administrative Rules for Utilization Review, Rule Set 2019-136 IF, on April 10, 2020. In accordance with Governor Whitmer and the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services’ recommendations designed to help prevent the spread of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19), the virtual public hearing will occur in lieu of the in-person hearing previously scheduled to occur at the Michigan Library and Historical Center on April 10, 2020.

The rescheduled virtual public hearing will begin at 9:00 a.m. Click here on April 10, 2020 at 9:00 a.m. to join the meeting.

In addition, the period for accepting written public comment has been extended to April 17, 2020 at 5:00 p.m. Interested parties are strongly encouraged to submit written comments on the draft rules either by email to Michele Estrada at EstradaM1@michigan.gov or by postal mail to Michigan Department of Insurance and Financial Services, Office of Research, Rules, and Appeals, P.O. Box 30220, Lansing, MI 48909-7720.
