Randall S. Gregg
Senior Deputy Director and General Counsel
Randall S. Gregg serves as DIFS' Senior Deputy Director and General Counsel with responsibilities for supervision of the Office of General Counsel, Office of Insurance Licensing and Market Regulation and Office of Banking.
Mr. Gregg has been licensed to practice law in Michigan since 2001. He began his employment with DIFS in 2009 as a Senior Staff Attorney. In 2010, he began serving as General Counsel and Director of the Office of General Counsel. As General Counsel, Mr. Gregg provides legal advice to the Director of DIFS and oversees the Office of General Counsel staff to ensure that high quality legal assistance is provided to DIFS. He also supervises all insurance company receivership proceedings for DIFS.
Mr. Gregg received his B.S. from Eastern Michigan University and a Juris Doctorate from Western Michigan University-Cooley Law School. He currently represents DIFS on the National Association of Insurance Commissioners' Antifraud Taskforce and Receivership and Insolvency Taskforce.
