Yes, if a candidate holds certain professional designations (CLU, ChFC, CPCU, AAI, CIC), or possesses a concentration of college credits in insurance from an accredited college. The candidate must submit a request in writing to our office and receive a written waiver before scheduling the exam. Details regarding the waiver process are available on the DIFS web page Insurance Pre-licensing Education Exclusions & Waivers. Following is a list of professional designations that qualify a candidate for a PE waiver:
