Monitoring mast occurrence and production using citizen scientists to inform wildlife management in Michigan

Problem/Need:

The goal of our proposed research is to evaluate the feasibility and accuracy of using citizen scientists to help collect information on mast production that can be used to inform DNR-Wildlife Division population and harvest management decisions.
