The Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP)of Otsego County has provided members to staff the Visitor’s Center at the Pigeon River for the past 22 years during the spring-summer-fall months. During that time they have made more than 21,000 contacts and engaged in outreach by providing information to the public visiting the forest. Recently, the group has expanded its scope to include being open during the winter months.
