Federal Aid in Sport Fish Restoration Grants
Sport Fish Restoration projects focus on the restoration, conservation, management, and enhancement of fish that have material value for sport or recreation. The funds provided through this grant program are divided between the two projects listed below.
State Wildlife Grant (Project T-10) Current Studies
This program provides federal funds to develop and implement programs that benefit wildlife and their habitats, including species not hunted or fished. Priority is placed on projects that benefit species of greatest conservation need. Grant funds must be used to address conservation needs identified within the state’s comprehensive wildlife conservation plan/strategy. This can be done through research, surveys, species and habitat management, and monitoring. These funds may also be used to update, revise, or modify a state’s strategy.
