Class will meet at the Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park Ski Hill Chalet. GPS: N 46.8180, W 89.6502.
This introductory downhill skiing program is perfect for those who want to begin skiing, but don’t know where to start. The day will begin with a meet and greet in the Ski Chalet A-frame. We will then issue equipment, gear up and head to the beginners’ hills for instructor-led skiing lessons. At noon we’ll break for lunch (provided), then spend the rest of the day skiing. At 4:30 we’ll meet in the A-frame again for a wrap-up and conclude.
Cost is $100. This includes equipment rental for Saturday, ski lessons with instructors, lift ticket for Saturday and lunch on Saturday. As a bonus, participants also will get a free lift ticket for Sunday. You are on your own for equipment, lunch, etc. on Sunday.
For ages 17 and older. Participation limited to 12.
