Due to COVID-19 operational procedures and protocols designed to protect the health and safety of visitors, volunteers, and staff, the DNR has scaled back some parts of our popular harvest festivals. Here’s what you need to know:

Many of your favorite fall activities will still be part of this year's festivities. Just remember interactive displays are discouraged because they attract guests into your campsite. To do this safely, please maintain proper social distancing (at least 6 feet from people outside your household) and make sure everyone keeps a face covering handy for crowded outdoor settings. The activities in store for this year include:

  • Site decorating contest - Go all out with your site decorations so other campers can enjoy the sights as they stroll trhough. Just remember we’re discouraging interactive displays that invite guests onto your campsite.
  • Scavenger hunt - Details will be available upon check-in at the campground office.
  • Fall coloring and activity sheets -  Pick up your activity sheets at the campground office. Campers are asked to supply their own markers, crayons and colored pencils.

Though all other activities, such as trick-or-treating, crafts and parades, aren’t a part of this year’s festivities, we can to make sure the tradition continues! We hope you’ll be a part of it, and we look forward to welcoming you for some festive, fall fun. For more information about the park or the event, call 906-875-3324.
