Side by sides crossing the Mackinac Bridge

Join us for the Fifth Annual Trek the Mighty Mac - the only event that welcomes side-by-sides, 4-wheelers, and off road motorcycles to take part in a stunningly picturesque ride across the Mackinac Bridge! Participants will gather at Little Bear Arena following the ride for lunch, live music and a beverage tent. More activities to be announced. Free shuttle around St. Ignace provided for registrants. Registration fee is $45 for the vehicle & driver and $25 for additional riders or passengers. Registration fees include: Mackinac Bridge fare, decal, lunch, shuttle, bussing, entertainment, and Kewadin Casino Package (19 years and older). This event is for ATVs, side-by-sides and off-road motorcycles. No Argos, 3-wheelers, golf carts etc. For other categories, please call the Visitors Bureau.

Prior to crossing, each vehicle is submitted to a technical inspection which will include: functioning headlights, taillights, and brake lights and sound level (no higher than 94 dB). 2017 MI DNR ORV permits are required. No after market seats will be permitted, as per state law. Participants must wear a helmet unless their machine has an R.O.P system. Vehicles must not interfere with normal vehicular traffic. All the above are Michigan Statutes covering ORV use under P.A. 451. 324. 81101-50. Drivers must have valid drivers license.
