Event Location: Belle Isle Casino parking lot (located on the southwest side of Belle Isle)

Conservation officers are collecting new toys for their first "Stuff a Truck" during the annual Holiday Stroll event on Belle Isle. Their goal is to collect as many toys as it takes to fill the back of a conservation officer patrol truck. All of the toys will be donated to children in Detroit through the Detroit Sergeant Santa program. Conservation officers will join officers from the Detroit Police Department to personally deliver the toys to local children that might not have the chance to experience holiday cheer. Anyone who brings a toy to donate can add it to the conservation officer patrol truck and enjoy a cup of hot chocolate along with other holiday events.

Holiday Stroll is a free family-friendly event with activities and performances at participating institutions across Belle Isle. Activities include:

  • Santa's Workshop
  • Holiday Stroll Winter Marketplace
  • Bling Bling Snowman and other crafts
  • Food truck court
