Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park - Snowshoe Tying Workshop

This is an all-day workshop dedicated to helping participants weave their own traditional wood-framed snowshoes. Each kit includes one pair of wood frames, tubular nylon lacing, boot bindings and step-by-step instruction. The style of snowshoe for this season’s class will be cross country.

For ages 16 and older.

The cost for the class is $200.

We will provide refreshments and snacks, but please bring your own lunch and wear comfortable clothing. A refrigerator and microwave will be available for use.

Participation is limited to 12.

Please note: Cancellations must be made by Dec. 14 in order to receive a refund. If you are unable to make the class and are unable to give one week’s notice, the registration fee is considered a donation to Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park.
