Hardworking Stewardship Volunteers

Meet at the Riverbend Picnic Area parking lot. Map/GPS coordinates: 42.504968, -83.709577

Assist us in clearing out invasive shrubs that could take over neat prairie remnants and crowd out native plants. We'll try to cover a lot of ground over the winter, so please come prepared to hike a distance.

Please register either by using the volunteer registration form or by emailing DillonK1@Michigan.gov.

Please Note: Dates occasionally change and events may be canceled due to inclement weather and other reasons. Please call the event contact to confirm dates/times prior to your arrival.

For more information on the program, visit the Volunteer Stewardship webpage. For more information about invasive species, visit Michigan.gov/Invasives.

Recreation Passport is required for vehicle entry into Michigan state parks. To make a camping reservation, visit MIDNRReservations.com or call 1-800-447-2757.

Stay in the know! Sign up for the parks you're interested in volunteering, and you will be notified about upcoming volunteer stewardship events.
