Themes, presentations, demonstrations and other activities for the inaugural program is currently being developed by members of Michigan's 12 federally-recognized tribes. Details will be added as they are confirmed.
Michigan Anishinaabe Heritage Day is is made possible in part by a grant from Michigan Humanities.
The Michigan History Museum—flagship of the Michigan History Museum System—is located in the east wing of the Michigan Library and Historical Center. Sunday admission and weekend parking are free. Read more Michigan History Museum visitor information.
