Spend an exhilarating day in the great outdoors learning all the skills necessary to hunt, fish or enjoy just about any outdoor recreation pursuit. Over 40 vendors will be on hand to display, discuss and give hands-on instruction in archery, fishing, camping and many, more nature-based activities. Learn all about habitat and environmental projects and take part in a live chuker hunt (Pre-registration & Hunters safety certification required for the hunt - contact Julie Griswold after 4 p.m. at 734-320-9243 or email@example.com to register). Presentations will include Birds of Prey and a Search and Rescue Dog Demonstration.
There are door prizes and food concessions on site! Dress for the weather as the event will be held rain or shine. This free event is brought to you courtesy of the Michigan Pheasants Restorative Initiative, Pheasants Forever, National Wild Turkey Federation and the Department of Natural Resources.
