Class doing yoga on paddleboard

Stand-Up Paddle Board (SUP) Yoga is a fun way to experience yoga outdoors. We will paddle out, do an hour of yoga on the boards, and then paddle back in.  We provide paddle boards and life jackets which will be sanitized before and after each use. No experience with SUP or Yoga is needed.  We’ll teach you everything you need to know. Cost is $25. Meet at Spring Mill Pond

Participants must be 18 years old. Children 14-17 can participate if accompanied by a parent/ legal guardian. We recommend sunblock, secure swimsuit, light clothing (something that won’t weigh you down if you go in the water, non-cotton). Do not bring anything you are not willing to lose or get wet. Eclipse will have a dry bag for keys and such.  A water bottle if you can secure it to the board with a clip or a carabiner. Sunglasses and hats if you have a way to secure them. We are sanitizing all equipment after each use.

Pre-register for classes at www.eclipseyoga.net. All registration is on-line. You can register and pay in the park by using your cell phone. Turn right after you enter the park, follow the road to Spring Mill Pond, you’ll see the boards at the front of the lake. If class must be canceled due to weather or water conditions, it will be posted on our Facebook page; Those who registered ahead of time will be notified by e-mail as well.

A Recreation Passport is required for vehicle entry into Michigan state parks. To make a camping reservation, visit www.midnrreservations.com or call 1-800-447-2757.
