Due to COVID-19 operational procedures and protocols designed to protect the health and safety of visitors, volunteers and staff, the DNR has scaled back some parts of our popular harvest festivals. Here's what you need to know:

This year we encourage you to go all out with your site decorations so other campers can enjoy the sights as they stroll trhough. Just remember interactive displays are discouraged because they attract guests into your campsite. To do this safely, please maintain proper social distancing (at least 6 feet from people outside your household) and make sure everyone keeps a face covering handy for crowded outdoor settings. There will be no contest this year.

Though all other activities, such as trick-or-treating, aren’t a part of this year’s festivities, we can to make sure the tradition continues! We hope you’ll be a part of it, and we look forward to welcoming you for some festive, fall fun. For more information about the park or the event, call 906-353-6558 or visit Facebook.com/BaragaStatePark.

Please Note: The Michigan Department of Natural Resources makes every effort to provide the most up-to-date and accurate information on the web calendar. However, dates occasionally change and events may be canceled for any reason. Please call the unit hosting the event to confirm dates and times prior to your arrival.

A Recreation Passport is required for entry into all Michigan state parks and recreation areas. Check "YES" when you renew your license plate at the Secretary of State.
