Masked Volunteers pose for a photo with bags filled with invasive Garlic Mustard

Meet at the bike trailhead parking lot on the north side of Livingston Road between Duck Lake and Waterbury roads. Map: 42.639536, -83.576926.

Help us remove garlic mustard that threatens to take over the high-quality forest in Haven Hill Natural Area. Garlic mustard removal is an easy project for the whole family, but we will be covering a lot of ground so come prepared for a hike. Long sleeve shirts, long pants and closed-toed shoes are highly recommended. Pre-Registration is required . Register by emailing Kelsey Dillon at DillonK1@michigan.gov.

Please Note: Dates occasionally change and events may be canceled due to inclement weather and other reasons. Please call the event contact to confirm dates/times prior to your arrival.

For more information on the program, visit the Volunteer Stewardship webpage. For more information about invasive species, visit Michigan.gov/Invasives.

Recreation Passport is required for vehicle entry into Michigan state parks. To make a camping reservation, visit MIDNRReservations.com or call 1-800-447-2757.
