Masked Volunteers pose for a photo with bags filled with invasive Garlic Mustard

Meet at the parking lot on the east side of Kern Road in the park's South Unit. Map: 42.748753, -83.215458.

Join volunteer steward Jenny S. to help remove garlic mustard that threatens to take over this valuable woodland. Garlic mustard removal is an easy project for the whole family, but we will be covering a lot of ground so come prepared to hike. Long sleeve shirts, long pants and closed-toed shoes are highly recommended. Pre-registration is required . Register by emailing Kelsey Dillon at DillonK1@michigan.gov.

Please Note: Dates occasionally change and events may be canceled due to inclement weather and other reasons. Please call the event contact to confirm dates/times prior to your arrival.
