Hardworking Stewardship Volunteers

Meet at the trailhead near the felt mansion. Meeting location: 42.69606, -86.19442

Let's keep invasive shrubs out of our beautiful dunes by removing pesky Japanese barberry and other unwanted plants from the forest! Volunteers will learn to identify these unwanted shrubs and will join in the effort to restore our native forest type by cutting and removing them. Registration is required. Register by emailing Emily Leslie at LeslieE1@michigan.gov

For more information on the program, visit the Volunteer Stewardship webpage. For more information about invasive species, visit Michigan.gov/Invasives.

Recreation Passport is required for vehicle entry into Michigan state parks. To make a camping reservation, visit MIDNRReservations.com or call 1-800-447-2757.
