Stewardship Volunteers- Seed Collecting

Meet at the Whitford Lake parking area. Meeting location: 42°18'40.7"N 85°21'37.9"W

Your help is needed to gather seed from native forbs and grasses!  This is a great activity for families, students and others to learn about native species while taking part in the restoration process!  All collected seed will be used in our on-going restoration efforts. No experience in plant identification or collection is necessary to enjoy this fun event! Register by emailing Emily at LeslieE1@Michigan.gov

Additional information is available via the DNR Volunteer Stewardship webpage. For more information about invasive species, please visit michigan.gov/Invasives.
