Hardworking Stewardship Volunteers

Meet at the small parking lot on the east side of Marsh Road, just south of Swartout Road (on the park's west side).  Map/GPS coordinates: 42.659288, -82.546328.

Join us as we cut invasive shrubs to keep them from shading out native plants in this valuable prairie remnant. Registration is required. Register by emailing Kelsey Dietz at DietzK2@michigan.gov.

For more information on the program, visit the Volunteer Stewardship webpage. For more information about invasive species, visit Michigan.gov/Invasives.

Please Note: Dates occasionally change and events may be canceled due to inclement weather and other reasons. Please call the event contact to confirm dates/times prior to your arrival.

Recreation Passport is required for vehicle entry into Michigan state parks. To make a camping reservation, visit MIDNRReservations.com or call 1-800-447-2757.

Stay in the know! Sign up for the parks you're interested in volunteering, and you will be notified about upcoming volunteer stewardship events.
