Hardworking Stewardship Volunteers

Meet at the Deep Lake mountain bike staging area. Meeting location: 42.616694, -85.452368

Enjoy your time outdoors and the satisfaction of helping protect our resources by volunteering near Deep Lake!  Volunteers will meet at the mountain bike trailhead and work to remove honeysuckle, autumn olive and other invasive shrubs from the forest near the campground. It's a great way to add an outdoor learning opportunity to your recreation experience at the park! Register by emailing Emily at LeslieE1@michigan.gov. Additional information is available via the DNR Volunteer Stewardship webpage. For more information about invasive species, please visit michigan.gov/Invasives.

Please Note: Dates occasionally change and events may be canceled due to inclement weather and other reasons. Please call the event contact to confirm dates/times prior to your arrival.

A Recreation Passport is required for vehicle entry into Michigan state parks. To make a camping reservation, visit www.midnrreservations.com or call 1-800-447-2757.
