Boating the Great Lakes
Boating the Great Lakes
Find detailed information about boating the Great Lakes, including the Michigan Harbors Guide, a harbor and marina map, and slip reservation rates and fees. Thanks to the harbor program, you are typically never more than 15 miles from a safe harbor along the Great Lakes shoreline.
Boating Access at Parks and Forest Campgrounds
Many of our state parks and state forest campgrounds have boating access. Some are carry-in access only (for non-motorized boats), while others are home to boating access sites with boat trailer parking. Some also have kayak, canoe and paddleboard rentals. Please note, you must obtain a Recreation Passport for vehicle entry.
