The nice thing about this waterbody is that it is easy to find, sits on shallow water, and has no brush or over hanging branches making it a great spot to take young children. Another thing that makes it a great place to fish is there are few boats on the lake so young anglers won't have to deal with the wakes created by boats pushing their tackle back to shore. The park located nearby is a great place for a picnic lunch. Since the location is in town there are many place to eat or anything else you may want or need.
