From May 1 through July 14, 2019, our Wetland Wonders will play host to the Explore MI Wetland Wonders contest, where you can explore and win. To enter the challenge, just visit one of the 14 Wetland Wonders sites and take your photo by the official Explore MI Wetland Wonders sign (pictured). You can submit you photo to DNR-WetlandWonders@michigan.gov with your name, email address, phone number and mailing address to be entered into the contest (full terms and conditions).
The 14 official Wetland Wonders Sites are: Portage Marsh SWMA (Delta County), Munuscong SWMA (Chippewa County), Manistee Marsh at Manistee River SGA (Manistee County), Houghton Lake Flats SWMA (Roscommon County), Wigwam Bay SWA (Arenac County), Nayanquing Point SWA (Bay County), Fish Point State Wildlife Area (SWA) (Tuscola County), Crow Island SGA (Saginaw County), Shiawassee River SGA (Saginaw County), Fennville Farm Unit at the Allegan SGA (Allegan County), Maple River SGA (Gratiot and Clinton Counties), the Muskegon County Wastewater Facility (Muskegon County), St. Clair Flats SWA on Harsens Island (St. Clair County) and Pointe Mouillee SGA (Monroe and Wayne counties).
