Gather around the campfire to hear tales of Michigan’s great outdoors! Hosted by Michigan Runner Girl Heather Durocher, each event will feature at least three professional storytellers with time for audience members to share two minute anecdotes of their own Michigan state park memories. Meet us on the White House lawn. Please bring your own camp chairs. Picnics welcome. Attendees under 18 hoping to share anecdotes must be accompanied by a guardian. This event is open to the public, however visitors are required to leave the park when it closes at 10 p.m. For more information about the Michigan state parks centennial, visit Michigan.gov/StateParks100

A Recreation Passport is required for vehicle entry into Michigan state parks. To make a camping reservation, visit www.midnrreservations.com or call 1-800-447-2757.

Please Note: Dates occasionally change and events may be canceled due to inclement weather and other reasons. Please call the park to confirm dates/times prior to your arrival.
