No matter how you reach the finish line – walk, run or hike – you pick the pace and the place. Just be sure to complete your virtual 5K anywhere outdoors sometime between April 17-26. That’s 10 days including two full weekends and, for good measure, Earth Day (April 22) and Arbor Day (April 24). For only $34 per person, your virtual race will make a real difference – all race proceeds (approximately $10 from each registration) will support tree-planting efforts at state parks throughout Michigan.
We'd love for you to complete your 5K in Michigan's great outdoors; however, it can be completed anywhere outdoors (as long as your shipping address is located somewhere in the continental U.S.).
$34 per person (plus a 2% processing fee). All proceeds (approximately $10 from each registration) will go toward planting Happy Little Trees in Michigan state parks.
It was our first time out, so we weren’t sure what to expect. The response to this partnership with Bob Ross Inc. was amazing, so we’ve bumped the registration cap from 1,000 to 25,000 participants!
Registering more than one participant:
When registering you will be asked to provide your name, mailing and/or billing address and email address, plus the T-shirt sizes for yourself and any additional people you're registering.
Each participant will be shipped a Happy Little T-shirt, a commemorative bib and a medal. Packages will start shipping in March and tracking details will be emailed to you via the U.S. Postal Service.

After you've registered and received your race swag by mail, you're invited to meet up and complete your virtual 5K. The Recreation Passport is required for entry into state parks. You'll receive an email with more details and how to RSVP sometime in February.
