The details

  • T-shirt, bib, medal

  • Make it a (home) run

People were invited to complete their own 5K sometime between April 17-26. Given current public health and safety concerns around COVID-19 and the real need to slow the spread of the virus, we are asking racers to stay close to home or hold off on running their race until travel restrictions are lifted.

If you choose to race between April 17-26:

    - Head out only if you’re feeling healthy.
    - Stay local to complete your 5K. Better yet, make it a (home) run and start your race by heading out your front door. (Racers from other states are urged to check local COVID-19 restrictions, too.)
    - Keep at least 6 feet between yourself and people from other households.

    Honor system

Completion of your 5K is based on the honor system, so you don’t have to officially report back in.

    The swag

You've earned it! If you choose, we encourage you to wear your Happy Little T-shirt and commemorative bib while you're walking, running or hiking your 5K. Be sure to proudly wear your medal after completion.

All proceeds (approximately $10 from each registration) go toward planting Happy Little Trees in Michigan state parks.

  • PARK MEETUPS: To slow the spread of COVID-19, we have canceled all group events and programs.
