• To remain active in SIC, you are required to follow the policies and procedures. Failure to do so will cause a one-year suspension and require you to re-attend a training.

Timeline of Required and Important events

    • Within 14 days of stocking in the spring  – submit your stocking report (MANDATORY)
      • Submission within 14 days is required by law. Non-submission automatically turns your status to “expired” and removes you from the program – so don’t miss this!
    • Only after submitting your stocking report will your Scientific Collectors Permit (SCP) be renewed and emailed to you.  (MANDATORY)
      • You are REQUIRED, by law, to have your SCP with you at all times while in possession of your salmon as they are “undersized gamefish”. You must have it with you to pick up eggs, and to release fish. Electronic forms displayed on your phone are ok!
    • You should receive the “Salmon Sense Newsletter” via email in September outlining egg pickup dates.
    • You will need to RSVP (in most cases) for your egg pickup time/location.
    • Maintain water quality test data sheets throughout the year (these are needed by us on occasion and are MANDATORY  for you to keep throughout the year).
    • You will receive a “Salmon Sense Newsletter” via email in December and April with important information.

**If any of these pieces are missed, please email Tracy Page for assistance.
