The 1.5-acre commercial parcel is surrounded by Presque Isle State Harbor. The building was previously leased for the operation of a restaurant, which is now closed and unoccupied.

The sale of the commercial property, located at 5549 E. Grand Lake Road in Presque Isle, will take place through a request for proposal process. The developer also will be required to purchase, either through a sale of the land or by easement, the water and sewer utility parcel located across the street.

"The RFP process will help the DNR find a buyer who is interested in developing a business model that complements boaters, tourists and the local community and economy," said DNR Parks and Recreation Division Chief Ron Olson.
