ORV/ATV Trail Maps
The DNR invites off-road enthusiasts to enjoy two Free ORV Weekends this summer. During these weekends, Michigan residents and nonresidents can legally ride DNR-designated routes and trails without purchasing an ORV license or trail permit. Riders save up to $36.25.

The Michigan DNR offers ORV information in a variety of formats to be used at home or on the trail. Use this information to help plan your next Michigan trail adventure.
- GPX: GPS units let you import .gpx files and track your location in real time.
- Shapefile: A shapefile is a recognized format for many desktop GIS applications and may help users incorporate trail data into their own maps.
- KMZ: Use a .kmz file in Google Earth and explore trail data on top of a virtual globe.
