Join the Ortonville Recreation Equestrian Association (OREA) for their annual Judged Trail Ride. During this fundraising event come test your horses skills of handling a variety of obstacles along the trail. Equestrians are welcome to come camp for the weekend or come just for the ride, which will be held on Saturday. There will be a cook out at 5 p.m. followed by a group campfire. The event will occur at the equestrian campground and bridle trails. For more information, contact Dawn Cope.
A Recreation Passport is required for vehicle entry into Michigan state parks. To make a camping reservation, visit MIDNRReservations.com or call 1-800-447-2757.
