Volunteer stewardship is a great way to help protect Michigan’s natural resources. Join AmeriCorps member and stewardship leader Carly L. to remove invasive species or collect native wildflower seeds that will be replanted throughout the grounds of the fish hatchery.

This is a great way for the family to enjoy the outdoors. Learn plant identification, connect with others and much more. No experience is necessary, and instruction is provided.

Please dress to be in the open sun. Long-sleeve shirts, long pants and closed-toed shoes are highly recommended.

Can’t make the scheduled workdays? No problem! Reach out to us and we will make a special time just for you!

Review available volunteer slots and sign up.
