The first session of the maple syrup clinic will be a video you can watch on your own at home, as we go through the tools you will need, cost, where you can find them and what everything is used for. The second part will be in person, where we will go through how to process the sap, canning, how to make maple sugar and more. A field trip off site to a sugar bush is in the works and may be part of the class but is tentative at this time.

Cost for the class is $30, which includes coffee in the morning and lunch.

In addition, onX maps now offers a discount for each Outdoor Skills Academy student, and if you decide to keep the app after your free trial, onX will donate a portion of the proceeds to conservation education. A promotional code will be sent via email prior to the class.
