Join the Outdoor Skills Academy and Killer Food Plots “Nick’s memorial clinic” to learn how to put in food plots and better manage your property for whitetail deer. This class will cover food plots for people with or without equipment and which seed to use for different scenarios.

“I have never met a guy more knowledgeable about food plots,” said one previous class participant.

The class will take place both in the classroom and in the field for hands-on experience, and you should leave with a better understanding of what to do and where.

Cost for the class is $30, which includes lunch, a soil kit, training and materials.

In addition, onX maps now offers a discount for each Outdoor Skills Academy student, and if you decide to keep the app after your free trial, onX will donate a portion of the proceeds to conservation education. A promotional code will be sent via email prior to the class.

To register for this class, go to Michigan.gov/DNRLicenses and click on the "Purchase a license" button. Sign in (using either a username and password or your ID and birthdate), and find the class under the Outdoor Skills Academy tab.
