Are slot machines tested in Michigan?

Yes.  The MGCB established the Gaming Laboratory Section in 1998 to review and test slot machines for compliance with the MGCB Administrative Rules and technical standards.  Prior to use, every slot machine operating in the three Detroit casinos has been reviewed by the MGCB Gaming Laboratory Section for compliance with all applicable MGCB rules and standards.

To ensure game integrity and ongoing compliance, the MGCB Lab has designed a field verification program for slot machines.  Slot machines operating in the field are electronically verified by MGCB Regulation Officers on a routine basis.
