Infrastructure Protection

    The Department of Technology, Management & Budget's, Office of Infrastructure Protection is responsible for security measures and response to and management of emergency situations in all DTMB-managed facilities. Access Control, Surveillance Cameras, Central Control, Emergency Management, ID/Access Card Services and State Security provide the integral services of Infrastructure Protection. Services provided to our customers include locksmith services, issuance of State identifications, 24-hour monitoring of security, life safety systems and HVAC systems at DTMB-managed facilities and some leased facilities. Additionally, Infrastructure Protection monitors surveillance cameras throughout facilities state-wide.

    Infrastructure Protection also coordinates all programs and activities associated with Homeland Security and emergency management for DTMB offices and State facilities. We lead the State's Continuity of Government Initiative by working with State agencies to develop and maintain emergency action plans for the continuous operation of State Government's critical functions in the event of an emergency.
