Michigan STEM Advisory Council
The Michigan STEM (MiSTEM) Advisory Council consists of business, higher education, K-12 education, and philanthropic leaders. It was created by the Michigan Legislature in 2015 to make recommendations that will help make Michigan a world leader in STEM education. The MiSTEM Advisory Council will publish recommendations annually.

The MiSTEM Advisory Council envisions that every K-12 student in Michigan has access and exposure to outstanding STEM programs in order to become STEM equipped. In order to do this, there must exist a cohesive approach to STEM in the State.

To all interested parties:
The MiSTEM Advisory Council meetings are held virtually every three weeks. The current meeting dates for 2019 are provided below. Meetings will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. unless otherwise noted below. Requests to join meetings can be sent to Megan Schrauben at SchraubenM1@michigan.gov.

The meetings are open to the public.
